When LAPD Lieutenant Peter Decker reluctantly agrees to do a big favour for old friend Teresa McLaughlin, he knows that his involvement will bring her sociopathic husband, Chris Donatti, back into his life. With lives hanging in the balance, Decker and his team need to find answers fast, with Donatti on the loose, no one is ever safe...
Okay, so this book took me ages to get into ... there's a lot of stuff going on in the beginning, but it doesn't really grip you until about midway thru. Unfortunately I think there actually may be too many sub-plots and storylines in this one. Certainly I felt that way at the end when Kellerman was trying to tie up all the loose ends. And the story they play up in the blurb (above) is barely even relevant in the end. Not the best Kellerman book I've read. I think I still definitely prefer Jonathan.
